SEO is all about website visibility. You can have a great brand, wonderful customer service and a fantastic product, but if your business is not visible to your potential customer base, then it will never reach its full potential.

Why does SEO appeal to you so much?

I enjoy the strategic part of Search Engine Optimisation – finding out how the Search Engines work and matching that with what people are searching for. Although the process is quite systematic, each new business or niche market presents a new challenge.

When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?

I spend time playing with my two kids and my partner who make me laugh. I’ve also become a bit of a gym fanatic lately and love the outdoors and going on bushwalks.

Three things that make you tick?

Firstly and foremost, being a dad; it’s the best job in the world. Secondly, the desire to travel the world; I’ve been fortunate enough to do a lot of travelling, but there is still much of the world I want to explore. Thirdly, my partner and best friend as life would be incomplete without her.

Favourite food?

I love Thai food, but my guilty pleasure is a bacon and egg roll with barbeque sauce and a homemade potato scallop. Can’t beat a classic!

If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?

Richard Branson because he is a true entrepreneur, Donald Trump for his business savvy and Mel Brooks for his comic genius.

If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?

I would bundle my family into the car and head down to the beach and spend the morning swimming and building sand castles with the kids. This would be followed by a late lunch involving a good bottle of wine and fresh seafood.
