What does SEO mean to you?
As a web developer at SEO Works, SEO for me is about developing websites that achieve a balance of looking great but also rank well in Search Engines. There is no point in designing a beautiful website if it cannot be found in the first pages of Search Engines.

Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
Our modern society thrives on information. By helping website owners to increase their visibility we add value to their business. Doing this well is almost an art. Search technology is quite new, very much needed and perpetually in motion. It is a challenging and dynamic industry.

When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do? 
In my spare time, I write graphics tutorials (mostly about vectoring) for the web. I read sci-fi and fantasy books, but I also like to listen to them as audio books. I love to cook and bake and strongly believe that I cannot have too many cooking pots and pans.

Three things that make you tick? 
Three things that make me tick are good company – people that can think for themselves, stand for their principles, know how to debate and have a strong point of view. I also enjoy good food and enjoy cooking as well as dining out. I also love travelling to discover hidden treasures, common people in far away countries, off the beaten track.

Favourite food?
Hmm.. it would probably be better to ask me what I do not like! I prefer quality food that is prepared with care. I enjoy cooking and hardly ever use processed products. My partner prefers home cooking over outdoor dining - but we do enjoy the wide choice of Asian food that Sydney offers, the dim sum lunches are awesome.

If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
Stephen Hawking, simply because he is the greatest mind of our time, Jacque Fresco for his vision of hope for the future of humanity in our technological age and my partner Dave who would never speak to me again if I denied him a discussion with these great minds.

If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?
A nice slow start of the day with homemade blueberry muffins and a nice coffee, followed by a nice bush walk or a walk along one of Sydney's northern beaches and a late lunch. At night, I would spend some quality time with my friends, enjoying a barbeque and watching a movie afterwards.
