Graduate Search Engine Optimisation Position - Linking Strategist

So, what does a Linking Strategist with SEO Works actually do? In this challenging and rewarding role, with guidance from our Business Analysts, you will:

• Research and locate high quality, link-friendly websites outside the usual range of directories and quasi-link farms
• Develop and nurture close direct relationships with web masters in key market segments
• Assist Business Analysts by preparing link development plans for client sites
• Undertake targeted link development programs for specific projects
• Manage relationships with our outsourced link building service providers where volume projects are required
• Assisting with the creation of quality, rich content for our own and our client web sites that will attract a high level of natural linking
• Manage and further develop our own high quality directories, blogs and web sites
• Maintain and further enhance our in-house Link Library

Whilst previous SEO experience is not required, the skills and experience you need to bring to the table include:

• Organisation and planning skills
• Targeted research, documentation and follow up skills
• Creative writing skills
• Commercial acumen

A positive, proactive approach to professional link development is expected. You will need to apply yourself actively and professionally at all times in order to demonstrate industry best practice and ensure our reputation for quality SEO service is maintained at all times.

This is a full-time, salaried role and the successful person will be a key member of our team. This role is a stepping stone into an SEO career, providing opportunities to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience. It is hoped the successful applicant will progress to a Business Analyst role, after learning the ropes as a Linking Strategist.
